Job Description:
A company is looking for a Healthcare Scheduler to manage
patient appointment scheduling and provide customer service
support.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments while
ensuring adherence to established protocols
Obtain and document patient demographics, insurance information,
and necessary authorizations
Provide patients with pre and post-test instructions and set
payment expectations
Required Qualifications
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
Minimum of 1 year of customer service or related experience in a
healthcare setting
Experience in a high-paced inbound contact center environment
Familiarity with medical terminology is strongly preferred
Ability to work effectively with common office software and
scheduling systems
