Job Description:
A company is looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) - Utilization
Management.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct chart reviews to evaluate the medical necessity of physical
and occupational therapy services
Provide informed recommendations to the Health Plan based on chart
reviews and clinical expertise
Collaborate in process and performance improvement initiatives,
including training and auditing
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant clinical setting
Unrestricted Licensed Therapist in California
Prior experience in chart review and application of clinical
criteria
Previous experience with maintenance therapy services for children
with chronic health conditions
Familiarity with Kentucky Medicaid Therapy Regulations
