Position Overview:

A successful Sr. Solutions Project Manager candidate is one who thrives in the technical aspects of the position and enjoys customer interaction and project management to support our nationwide network of Distribution and eCommerce centers. The successful candidate will bring Technical and Project management experience. Technical experience in engineering solutions relative to creating distribution center layouts, analyzing productivity, creating pricing models, and optimizing strategies in our current environments. Will follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. In addition, the candidate will observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate.

Work Location: The ideal candidate for this position would live in a commutable distance Johns Creek, GA.

Work Schedule: First Shift - Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm - On-Site

Work Travel: Between 25% - 50% domestic travel.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage technical projects focused on solution design for internal or external customers.
Partner with Solution engineers and Engineering teams to turn business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Review and develop end-to-end warehouse and eCommerce solutions with marketing, sales, and operations leaders.
Design, evaluate, plan, integrate, and test project solutions.
Create designs, models, and pricing estimates for new business opportunities.
Identify and eliminate functional duplications within the organization.
Implement automated warehousing solutions to enhance productivity.
Recommend and optimize storage and material handling strategies.
Conduct ROI analyses for capital proposals.
Continuously evaluate and improve work processes.
Follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices and safety rules.

Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain management or equivalent. Master's degree in related field preferred.
2-5 years of related experience of successful Project management.
5-10 years-experience in a distribution, logistics or warehouse environment
Knowledge of eCommerce, and Distribution processes and functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

WMS/SAP/ERP Knowledge preferred
Strong organizational and leadership skills with a proven track record of delivering technical projects.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A financial or pricing background is a plus
