Job Description:

A company is looking for a Tax Accountant II to support its internal tax team and collaborate with finance and other departments in the United States and Canada.



Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provision calculations and related reporting packages
Gather and analyze information for federal, state, provincial, and local corporate income tax returns and workpapers
Contribute to tax process automation and improvement projects, including streamlining workpapers and processes


Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics required; CPA, IRS EA, or Master's degree in Taxation preferred
3+ years of experience in public accounting or a corporate tax department focused on ASC 740 income tax provisions
Experience in U.S. domestic and foreign corporate tax compliance and resolving tax audits
Experience using tax provisioning software; proficiency in OneSource Tax Provision preferred
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with a focus on deliverables
