Job Description:
A company is looking for a Media Monitor to drive real-time news
coverage and rapid response on social media.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor various news sources including cable news, podcasts, and
social media for relevant content
Identify and optimize video, audio, and other content for social
media engagement
Report on newsworthy moments and user-generated content relevant to
the organization's mission
Required Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in media monitoring and research,
preferably in a news or advocacy organization
Strong editorial judgment and understanding of journalistic
practices
Demonstrated research skills with a track record of generating
social media engagement
Proven ability to grow audiences on platforms like TikTok,
Instagram, and YouTube
Substantial knowledge of national politics, the labor movement, and
economic issues
